New York University School of Law was founded in 1835, it is the oldest law school in New York City and it offers J.D., LL.M., and J.S.D. degrees in law and it is regarded as one of the top 10 most prestigious and selective law schools in the United States. LLM Degree Requirements: Credit Requirements To earn the LLM degree, students must complete at least 24 credits in fall and spring, and meet the specific requirements of their specialization. Application Deadlines: December 15, 2015 LLM in Legal Theory: February 1, 2016 LLM in Taxation: February 1, 2016 (priority scholarship deadline); April 1, 2016 (final) All other programs: April 1, 2016 Eligibility: Applicants must have a LLB degree from a law school that is approved by the Section of Legal Education of the American Bar Association or a bachelor of laws degree from a non-US law school approved by its foreign equivalent.
