MBA or Montgomery Bell Academy is 147-year old. Its history as a college preparatory school for young men in grades 7-12, offering a progressive approach to traditional education.

It provides a determined balance among academics, athletics, and fine arts for its students.

Tuition Information

Enrollment Fee & Contract

• For incoming students, a non-refundable enrollment fee of $1,000 is due with the enrollment contract by March 9, 2016.

• For current students, a non-refundable enrollment fee of $1,000 is due with the re-enrollment contract by February 8, 2016.

• This fee is a portion of the total tuition for the upcoming school year.

• The enrollment contract and tuition become binding May 1, 2016. After May 1, parents are obligated to pay the entire tuition, whether or not their son completes the school year.

• The cost of tuition for the 2015-16 school years is $24,232.

Three Tuition Payment Options

• Single Payment Plan

• Semi-Annual Payment Plan (with additional finance charges)

• Monthly (with additional finance charges)

Tuition Refund Insurance Plan

• Families choose to participate in a tuition refund plan that would insure partial payment of unpaid tuition and fees or refund of prepaid tuition and fees.

Other Estimated Fees include but are not limited to:

• Textbooks about $500

• Registration Fee $450 (covers Lab, Yearbook, Tests, and Course Fees)

• 7th Grade Fall Outdoors Trip $300

• 8th Grade Spring Atlanta Trip $350

• Meal Plan $925/year

• Parking Permit (optional) $50

• It exercises every precaution to protect the health and welfare of its students, but it cannot be financially responsible for injuries received on the athletic fields, on the campus, or on trips when students are representing the school.
