Re: Mass Communication by Delhi University Delhi University offers following mass communication courses: -Bachelor with Honours in Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC) -Bachelor with Honours in Hindi Journalism & Mass Communication -Post Graduate Diploma in Business Journalism & Corporate Communication (DBJCC) -Two Year P.G. Diploma in Hindi Journalism -One Year P.G. Certificate Course in Hindi Journalism Bachelor with Hons in Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC) This course is offered by six colleges namely: -Lady Shri Ram College for Women -I.P. College for Women -Kamala Nehru College -Kalindi College -Maharaja Agrasen College -Delhi College of Arts and Commerce Admission Criteria: The university take admission on the basis of the entrance test and interview for selecting students for this course. B.A. (Hons.) Hindi Journalism & Mass Communication This programme is offered by the following colleges: -Aditi Mahavidyalaya -Bhim Rao Ambedkar College -Ram Lal Anand College -Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College Admission Criteria: Admission to this programme is based on Centralized Entrance Test by Delhi University. Although, students aspiring to get admission into English journalism degree course of Delhi University don’t have to appear for an entrance test Post Graduate Diploma in Business Journalism and Corporate Communication (DBJCC) It is the only course, one of its kind, being pursued at the Delhi University and is affiliated to the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences & Humanities, South Campus, University of Delhi. Admission Criteria: Admission to DBJCC is based on the entrance test conducted by the college with 80% weightage, interview with 10% weightage & group discussion with 10% weightage. The admission test will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of objective type questions with weightage on: -Economics and Business Awareness (30% weightage) -General Knowledge and Current Affairs (20% weightage) -General English (20% weightage) -Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning (30% weightage) Two Year P.G. Diploma in Hindi Journalism Offered by the Department of Hindi, Delhi University, South Campus One Year P.G. Certificate Course in Hindi Journalism Offered by the Department of Hindi, Delhi University, South Campus Selection Process: Department of Hindi, South Campus conducts entrance exam in May every year for the above two certificate/diploma courses. Entrance Test is held at Arts Faculty Building, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi- 110021. |
