IIT Joint Entrance Exam is for admission to various Undergraduate programmes at Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi along with Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad,.

Eligibility
Applicants must have passed in final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 60% or above .

Applicants appearing in class XII final or equivalent examination in 2015 may also appear in JEE Mains 2015 examination provisionally.

Applicants date of birth should be on or after October 1, 1990 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PwD i.e 1985)

Applicants can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.

Selection Procedure:
Selection on the basis of All India Ranks calculated with the JEE main 2015 Scores and normalized marks of Class XII in the ratio 60:40
