M.Sc Biotechnology in Delhi University

Hi I would like to know the eligibility for the M.Sc in Biotechnology offered at Delhi University as my sister would like to pursue it?

MSC (Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) which is offered by the Department offers a Masters course in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.


The Department also offers M Phil as well as Ph D programmes. Major areas of research include:
(i) Novel plant genes and regulation of their expression
(ii) Photobiology and signal transduction,
(iii) Transgenics for crop improvement,
(iv) Stress molecular biology,
(v) Plant – virus interactions
(vi) Plant biotechnology for human health, and
(vii) Rice, tomato and wheat genomics.

Qualification Conditions for Admission:
Admission to the Master of Science in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (PMBB) includes a composed placement test took after by a meeting. Competitors are called for meeting in view of execution in composed examination and the last choice depends on the joined execution in composed exam and the meeting.
