Qualification:
Applicants must have done BPharm from an institution recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Admissions
Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test(MU-OET) 2014.

Test pattern:
Duration -2 hours, there will be one question paper of 200 multiple choice question of the objective type.
The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:
Pharmaceutical Analysis (25), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (25),

Pharmacy Practice (25),
Pharmacognosy (25),
Pharmaceutics (25),
Pharmaceutical Marketing,

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

GPAT is conducted by AICTE for M.Pharmacy admission.

The exam pattern of GPAT 2016 is as follows:
Number of Questions: 125 questions
Time Duration: 180 Minutes
Negative Marking is applicable
For each correct answer candidates will be awarded 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted
There will be no breaks during the exam

Eligibility:
Candidates must be Bachelor's degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates)

Those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are also eligible for appearing in GPAT exam.

Gitam Admission Test (GAT) is a Computer Based Online test Conducted for Admission to Pharmacy Programs in GITAM University at its Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru Campuses .


2 Year M. Pharmacy Programs Offered :

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed in B. Pharmacy from a Recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and Score obtained in GAT (PGP) - 2016

Section-A: Pharmaceutics: 25 (no of questions); 75 (marks)

Section-B: Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance 25 (no of questions); 75 (marks)

Section-C: Pharmacology 25 (no of questions); 75 (marks)

Section-D: Pharmaceutical Chemistry 25 (no of questions); 75 (marks)

Total: 100 no of questions; 300 (marks)

Applications can also be obtained by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address accompanied by demand draft for Rs.150/- drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank Request for applications by post will be accepted upto 25th March, 2016
