As you have completed M.A Economics and B.Ed it seems that you are interested in teaching field. But for that I don't think you should have done Bachelor of Education. After completing post graduation you are eligible for the National Eligibility Test which is conducted for college lectureship and PhD. Post graduation degree makes you eligible for college lectureship while the Bachelor of Education degree makes you eligible for school teacher. If you have to choose one, I will say go for the college lectureship. NET Eligibility 1. You should be Indian citizen. 2. Post graduation degree in any stream. 3. At least 55 percent marks. 4. SC/ST are required to score 50 percent marks. 5. Final year applicants are also eligible to apply. 6. You must select NET subject which is relevant to PG course. 7. Age limit for JRF is 28 years. 8. upto 3 years relaxation for OBC. 9. Maximum of 5 years relaxation for SC and ST. 10. There is no upper age limit for college lectureship.
