Admission in M Com in Karnataka University in Dharwad is based on the merit announced according to Bachelors Degree Marks.

Course offered and the duration of the courses :
Master of Commerce ( M.Com.)
2 years/4 Semesters

Duration of the semester :
Duration of each semester shall be 16 to 18 weeks from the date of the commencement of respective semester.

Eligibility
B.Com. degree of Karnatak University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto.
The minimum aggregate percentage of marks to be obtained by the candidate
for seeking admission to semester course under this faculty shall be as
stipulated by the Karnatak University in the light of directives from the
Government, Reservation Policy, etc., from time to time.

Admission Procedure
Aggregate percentage of marks at B.Com. level subject to the minimum aggregate percentage as stipulated by the University.

Course structure
The course structure shall be as outlined below :
M.Com. : 5 papers in each semester including project report/dissertation in Lieu of one paper in the IV semester.

Scheme and medium of instruction
The minimum instructional ( teaching) hours per paper per week shall be 5 including one hour for seminar/case study/tutorial/presentation/audio- visual/program/assignment.

In case of computer based papers there shall be three hours of teaching and two hours of computer laboratory work per paper per week.

The medium of instruction shall be English. However, the candidates will be permitted to write the examination either in English or in Kannada.
