The National Institute of Technology, Agartala, abbreviated to NIT Agartala or NITA, is an innovation situated foundation of advanced education built up by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India in Agartala, India.

It was established as Tripura Engineering College in 1965 and proclaimed a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2006. It is a specialized foundation in India alongside every single other Nit and IITs. It is perceived as an Institute of National Importance, by a demonstration of the Parliament of India.
