Unit I
1. Define Jurisprudence. Briefly discuss the nature and scope of Jurisprudence.
2. Is law a system of rules? Explain Hart's rule of recognition. What are the defects of this approach? Give examples.


Unit II
3. The movement of progressive societies has hither to been a movement from status to contract. Explain the historical approach to law by Henry Maine.
4. What do you mean b1n'Natural law? Explain the revival of natural law in 20th century with special reference to India.


Unit III
5. Explain Dugitit's theory of law and his contribution, in development r:f sociological school.
6. Discuss John Rawl's theory of, Justice. How do you compare it with Indian approach in theory and practice?


Unit IV
7. Define right and its elements. Also explain the theories of rights.
8. Define ownership and different modes of acquisition of ownership.
