Krishna University was established in 2008 in Machilipatnam Krishna, Andhra Pradesh, India,. It was established by the state of Andhra Pradesh. The University is approved by UGC.

There is no latest notification of PhD admission of Krishna University release.

PhD Admissions

Krishna University shall admit the candidates into Full-Time (Regular) and Part-Time (External) research programmes.

Eligibility-

Postgraduate examination from recognized university in the concerned or related subject securing first or second class with at least 55% of marks on the aggregate or equivalent grade point
average (GPA).

A relaxation of 5% of marks on the aggregate for SC and ST candidates

Eligibility for full-time programme without entrance
Examination-

The candidates qualified in UGC NET-JRF/ CSIR NET-JRF/RGNF/DBTJRF/ ICMR-JRF/ DST-INSPIRE/ ICAR/ ICSSR/FIP can be admitted at any time of the academic year into M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes.

In case there is no vacancy in the Department, an extra seat may be created for such candidate.

Admission process-

Centre for Research Studies CRS by conducts the written test
and interview.

The candidates who secure 40 % marks (35% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible for interview.
