Paper Pattern:

The Karnataka Public Service Commission Civil Service Examination is conducted at the following two levels namely:

1. Preliminary Examination

2. Mains Examination and Personal Interview

1. Preliminary Examination:

The Preliminary Examination of the KPSC Civil Services Exam is an objective type paper having multiple choice questions of 100 Marks. The candidates will be given questions on the following sections:

Total Number of Questions: 100

Total Marks Allotted: 200

a) What is an Operating System and basics of Window
b) The user interface
Using mouse and moving Icons on the screen
- The my computer Icon

Windows Explorer, Viewing of File, Folders and directories
- Creating and Renaming files and folders
Opening and Closing different Windows.
