As you want I am here providing you detail about the eligibility criteria to appear in the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for getting teaching job in a school for as a teacher for Upper Primary classes. Eligibility criteria: Candidate should have B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) or its equivalent. OR Candidate should have B.A/B.Sc/B.Com degree with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE regulations. OR Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed. Relaxation : Relaxation up to 5% to SC/ST candidates and Differently able categories. Relaxation of 3% for OBC & OEC candidates.
