The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) notifies regarding the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for admissions to Medical and Dental courses.

Eligibility:
The applicant is required to pass Karnataka 2 PUC/12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subject and English with one of the languages of study.

The applicant must have secured 50% marks in aggregate.

Age limit
A candidate should have attained the age of 17 years but not more than 25 years.

Exam Pattern:
KCET Medical will be held in 2 days in four different sessions for four subjects.

KCET Medical entrance exam will consist of multiple choice questions from
Physics,
Chemistry,
Biology and
Mathematics

Each paper will be conducted for 60 marks each.
The duration of each paper will be 80 minutes.

Last date for submitting Demand Draft by Speed Post
April 2, 2014

Karnataka Combined Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to many under graduate professional courses including MBBS.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC/12th Std/Equivalent exam with English as one of the languages and a minimum of 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects.

2. Age limit:
Minimum requirements of age i.e. minimum 17 years must be fulfilled by the candidate for admission.

Karnataka CET Syllabus:
Consists of questions from basic syllabus of Higher Secondary Exam of the Karnataka State Board

Karnataka CET Application Fee:
Application fee for Karnataka CET is Rs.650 (Rs.500 in case of SC/ST candidates)

Important Tentative Dates:

Availability of Applications: 1st Week of March
Last Date for Online Submission: Mid of April
KCET: 1st week of May
Results : Last week of May, 2014
