The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Examination is being conducted for admission in to the MBBS course. Here are the details of this test:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Chemistry with 60% marks from any recognized board of India.

Age:
Candidates should have attained or need to attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.

AIIMS MBBS Exam is a national level undergraduate medical entrance examination which is held by All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi for obtaining admission in MBBS programme. Concerned and Eligible applicants can submit their application form from the month of March 2016.

AIIMS 2016 MBBS Eligibility Criteria
 Interested aspirants must have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent exam with subjects English and PCB from a recognized university and secured 60% aggregate in case of General and OBC category candidates (50% for SC/ST category students).
 Aspirants must be a citizen of India.
 The age of aspirants should be 17 years on or before 31st December 2016.

Application Fees for AIIMS MBBS Exam 2016
Aspirants from General and OBC category are required to pay the application fees of Rs 1000/-, whereas for SC/ST category applicants, it is Rs. 800/-.

Important dates for AIIMS 2016 MBBS Exam
Submission of Application From will begin on: March 2016
Last Date of Submitting the Application Form: April 2016 onwards
Admit Card can be downloaded from: May 2016 onwards
AIIMS MBBS 2016 Examination Date: 29th May, 2016 (Sunday)
Results will be declared on: 14th June 2016 (Tuesday)


AIIMS 2016 MBBS Exam Pattern
 The examination paper will be in 2 languages only i.e. Hindi and English.
 The format of question paper is computer based and includes 200 multiple choice questions.
 The duration of exam is three hours thirty minutes.
 1/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer and 1 mark for each correct answer.
 The question paper will includes 60 questions from Physics, 60 questions from Chemistry, 60 questions from Biology and 20 questions from General Knowledge.
