Can you tell me about the number of attempts one can get for KAS (Karnataka Administrative Services) Exam?

The KPSC (Karnataka Public Service Commission) was established in 1951 under the provisions of the Constitution, recruits candidates to the various civil services across the state through KAS (Karnataka Administrative Services) Exam. Attempts at the Examination: Unlimited number of attempts for candidate belongs to SC/ST (Age limit considered). 7 attempts for candidate belongs Other Backward Caste. 5 attempts for General Merit candidates Academic Qualification: Candidate need to have Bachelor Degree or Master Degree awarded by a recognized University in India. Candidates appearing for an examination, passing of which will render them educationally qualified for preliminary exam conducted by the Commission, but the results of which is not been declared, are also eligible for admission Age Limit : Minimum age 21 years and not attained the age of 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of application. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates. Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for Other backward category candidates. Upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow Candidates. Upper age limit is relaxed in the case of a candidate who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union. Examination Process at 3 stages as before: Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) exam is a three stage process: Stage I.
