The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Center, University of Mysore, Mysore is a Nodal Agency Recognized by the UGC, New Delhi for conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for lectureship/Assistant Professor since 2010.

This Center is also one of the Nodal Centers in Karnataka for Conducting UGC-NET Examination twice a year.

Tentative Dates :

Submission of On-line Application commences from
20th July 2015

Last date for submission of online application
25th August 2015

Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs.100/-
5th September 2015

Last date for submission of hard copy of the Application form along with copy of the bank Challan, category certificate, PG degree marks card to the respective Nodal center.
21th September 2015

Date of Examination
06th December 2015

Educational Qualification:

Candidates Master’s Degree Examination from Universities / Institutions Recognized by UGC New Delhi, in Subjects like :
Science,
Humanities (Including Languages),
Computer Science,
Social Science & Applications,
Electronic Science

with minimum of 55% for General Candidates & 50% for Reserved Candidates are eligible to appear for this test.

Age Limit:

No Upper Age Limit to apply for this test.

Application Fee:

For General: Rs. 1000/-
For Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB: Rs. 800/-
For Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD (VH/PH): Rs. 500/-

Late fee of Rs.100/- has to be paid by candidates who submit online application after the last date till the extended period.
