PGCET stands for Postgraduate common entrance test. This exam is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority for the admission of the students in PG courses like MBA, MCA, ME, M. Tech and M. Arch and MBA (Infrastructure management). Important KEA PGCET Dates: Opening date of the application form 30th June 2015 Payment at ABM/E-Payment Post Office 2nd July 2015 Last date for online application form 10th July 2015 Last date for Payment at ABM/E-Payment Post Office 12th July 2015 Download Admit Card 20th July 2015 Results date August 2015 KEA PGCET Eligibility Criteria Candidate must have the bachelor degree with at least 50% marks from recognized university. The students who have a valid GATE score then the student do not need to appear in this exam but they have to apply for PGCET with the valid score. Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern:- The paper consists of two parts: Part 1: 50 questions of 1 mark each Part 2: 25 questions of 2 marks each Total No of Questions is 75 as follows: Total Marks are 100 Duration: 120 minutes KEA PGCET Application Fee:- General category application fee: Rs 600 and For ST/SC the application fee is 300/-. |

Karnataka PGCET is the entrance exam for the PG Engineering Admissions in Karnataka. Tentative Dates: Commencement of Online Application : last week of June , 2015 Payment of fees at SBM/E-Payment Post Offices: first week of July , 2015 Last Date of Entry of Application: second week of July , 2015 Last date to pay the fees : second week of July , 2015 Downloading of Admission Tickets on or after: third week of July , 2015 Test: last week of July , 2015 Result: August, 2015 Eligibility Criteria Applicants must have passed the qualifying examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I Applicants ) in aggregate Applicants must meet the domicile requirements as specified. Applicants with valid GATE score will be given preference and need not appear for Karnataka PGCET Applicants must have studied for a minimum seven years from Class I to the qualifying exam. Exam Pattern: Total Marks are 100 Duration of the exam is 120 minutes Total No of Questions is 75 as follows: Part 1: 50 questions of 1 mark each Part 2: 25 questions of 2 marks each |
