You need Jharkhand Public Service Commission Preliminary Examination syllabus I am giving here:

The examination will consists of two papers— General Studies of 100 marks each.

Paper I: General Studies (100 Marks)

• History of India and Indian National Movement
• Indian and World Geography
• Indian Polity and Economy
• History, Geography, Economy and Culture of Jharkhand.

Paper II: General Studies (100 Marks)

• Current Events of State, National and International importance
• General Science— Do not require specialisation and that which can be expected from a well educated person.
• General Mental Ability—Reasoning and Analytical abilities

Main Examination
Compulsory Subjects (500 Marks)

• General Hindi: 100 marks
— Nibandh: 30 marks
— Vyakaran: 30 marks
— Vakya-Vinyas: 25 marks
— Sankshepann: 15 marks

• General Studies (Paper I): 200 marks
— Modern History of India and Indian Culture.
— Current event of National and International importance and current affairs.
— Statistical analysis graphs and diagrams

• General Studies (Paper II): 200 marks
— Indian Polity
— Indian Economy and Geography of India
— The role and impact of science and technology in the development of India and recent developments in science and technology.

Optional Subject
• Agriculture
• Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
• Anthropology
• Botany
• Chemistry
• Civil Engineering
• Commerce and Accounting
• Economics
• Electrical Engineering

Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is the foremost authority for conducting the state civil services exam for the Jharkhand State. The aspirants of the Jharkhand State appear and qualify in the concerned exam for different cadres of administrative services including Group B and C posts respectively.

Exam Pattern for JPSC:
There will be 2 rounds of examinations held for the qualification to the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. These are:
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Mains Examination

1. Preliminary Examination:
There will be 2 papers in this part of exam as per the syllabus of the CSAT to be solved in the given time frame on the following:
Paper I: General Studies (200 Questions)
Paper II: General Studies (200 Questions)
Total Marks Allotted: 400
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours

Syllabus for ERxamination:

Paper I: History, Geography, Science & Technology, Economic Events, Indian Constitution and Governance, Environmental Issues, Disaster Management Policy, National and International Events
Paper II: Hindi and English Comprehension based questions, Decision Making and Problem Solving questions, General mental Ability, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability and basic Numeracy etc.

Examination Pattern for Mains Exam:
There will be a total of Five papers in the Mains Exam on the following main categories as given below:
Paper I: General Hindi and General English (High School Standard) 100 Marks
Paper II: Language and Literature (Out of the 9 Languages as specified for this- Hindi/ English/ Urdu/ Bangla/ Oriya and Sanskrit respectively) 100 Marks
Paper III: General Studies (as per the syllabus of Paper I) 200 Marks
Paper IV: General Studies Paper II (Indian Constitution/ Polity/ Good Governance) 200 Marks
Paper V: General Studies (General Science /Environmental & Technology Development) 200 Marks etc

Total marks Allotted to Mains Exam:

Nine Hundred Marks

The aspirants who qualify in the written exam including Prelims and Mains shall be then called to attend the Interview which is the final selection exam for the JPSC.
