I have completed Diploma in Electronics and now pursuing B. Tech, after B. Tech I want to join Indian Army so please give me all important details?

Indian Army before some time announced the recruitment for the Officers Training Academy Chennai under the Short Service Commission (Tech) Men and Short Service Commission (Tech) Women from all the eligible candidates who have applied in the concerned job posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
The applicants should be an engineering graduate BE/B. Tech Civil/ Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering/ Aeronautical /Aerospace/ Avionics/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Micro electronics & Microwave/ Electronics & Tele Communication/Bio Tech/ Food Technology/ Metallurgical & Explosive , B. Arch from any recognized university/ college of India.

The candidates who are in the final year of the engineering course can also apply in the concerned post.

Age Requirements:
Candidates should lie in the age group of 20 to 27 years and 19 to 29 years.

Selection Criteria:
The candidates will base on written exam and interview. This will be followed by the Medical Examination for all the short listed candidates only.

Application Modes:
Online applications can be done for all the offered posts from the website of the Indian Army. The registration window closes after 1st week of March (tentative) for all the eligible candidates.

The candidates should carry all the documents with them at the time of Interview for the purpose of verification by the selection authority.
