Hey as The University of the Fraser Valley, is a Canadian public university with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Hope, British Columbia.



Qualifications

Successful candidates will have licensure (or eligibility for licensure) with the CRNBC, and will hold a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing;a Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (current enrolment in a Master’s Program may be considered).

A strong current clinical practice foundation in paediatric nursing required.

Previous classroom and clinical teaching experience in a nursing program is preferred.

The successful applicant will demonstrate evidence of nursing scholarship and highly developed communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.


Experience

Experience in curriculum development and community serviceare assets.Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide three references.

Responsibilities

UFV’s growing, vibrant and progressive nursing program offers a four year Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with a three year fast track option.

Faculty teach in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings and require the flexibility to teach in more than one level of the program.

Classroom and laboratory teaching occurs on the Chilliwack campus of UFV.

Hospitals, institutions and health care agencies in Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Mission provide the primary sites for student clinical experiences
