Can you provide me the details if the notification for inviting Applications for Guest Faculty in Department of Geography - Dated 23.02.2016 in Bangalore University as I will apply for it if suits my profile?

Applications are invited from qualified candidates (Ph.D / NET/SLET) to work as Guest faculty during the academic year 2015-16 in the following faculty in Bangalore University.

If there is no NET / SLET qualified or PhD candidates, other applicants will be considered.

Faculty of Science: M.Sc. Geography

One need to download the Application from official website and submit the duly filled in application form (hard copy) along with photocopies of P.G. Marks cards, PG Degree /NET /SLET/Ph. D Certificates to The Chairperson of Geography department, Jnanabharathi Campus on or before 5 p.m. on 29.02.2016 either in person or by post.

Applications received after the due date shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

1. PhD (with course work) / NET / SLET is minimum eligibility conditions for appointment of Guest Faculty in the University provided, however, one who is awarded PhD Degree in compliance of the UGC, Regulation 2009, are exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET.

2. One needs to visit the University website regularly for any updates regarding this notification. The candidates are also advised to contact the Chairman of the respective department regarding the specialization for which the guest faculty is required, etc.

3. No individual intimation will be sent.

4. State Reservation Policy is followed for selection.

5. Depending upon the workload, the University may or may not engage the guest faculty in particular department
