Yea, you can apply for the Jobs in air force after civil engineering, B.Tech graduates can join Indian Air Force as Flying Officer in Flying Branch and Aeronautical Engineer in Technical Branch. You need to appear in the Air Force Common Admission Test which is conducted by Indian Air Force for the selection of officers in the three major branches such as. Flying branch Technical branch and Ground Duty branch Flying Branch: The Candidates should have completed Graduation (10 + 2 + 3) in any stream with physics and Mathematics subjects in 10 +2 or BE/ B.Tech. Technical Branch: The Candidates should have completed Four year Degree qualification, passed Section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers or Graduated in Aeronautical/ Tele communication/ Electronics. Ground Duty Branch: The applicants should have passed Graduation in any stream from a recognized University/ Institute. Air Force Combined Admission Test is taken by India Air Force for grant of SSC in Flying Branch and Permanent/ SSC in Technical and Ground Duty Branches of the IAF after the successful completion of the courses. The courses offered are: Technical Branch: Aeronautical Engineers Course (Permanent Commission) Short Service Commission Course Flying Branch: Short Service Commission Course Ground Duty Branches: Ground Duty Officers Course (Permanent Commission) Short Service Commission Course Eligibility Eligibility Conditions for Flying Branch: Candidates should be between 19 years to 23 years as on 1st Jul. 2015. Bachelor’s degree in any subject area with 60% Marks from a recognized University or Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology of 4 years with 60% Marks. However candidates holding valid CPL issued by DGCA (India) will be relaxed in age upto 25 years. Candidates must be passed 12th Examination with Maths and Physics. Physical Standards: Thigh length: Max-64cms. Sitting height: Min-81.5 cms. Max-96 cms. Vision – 6/6 and 6/9 Minimum Height: 162.5 cms with correlated weight Leg length: Min-99 cms. Max-120 cms. Eligibility condition for Ground Duty Branches: Administration and Logistics --- Applicants must have completed Graduate degree in any discipline with 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate degree/equivalent diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
