Applications from eligible candidates are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

Eligibility :

Essential minimum qualification –
First Class Masters degree in Biological Science.

Minimum 2 – years experience as a Junior Research Fellow (in molecular biology as evidenced with publication(s) in indexed journals.)

Age :
Below 32 years

Upper age limit is relaxation:
Up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.

Fellowship –
Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates;
Rs. 14,000 + 20% HRA for Non-Net/Non-GATE candidates.

DURATION:
Co-terminus with the project.
As of now, the project is active till 20th October, 2016.
However, an extension of this project till 20th October, 2017 is anticipated.

Last date for the receipt of the application has been extended to 15th April, 2016.
