Hello sir, I want to know about the eligibility required for the JKPSC Forman post? Can any one provide me detail of eligibility requirements in JKPSC for foreman post?

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission is a counsels Government of Jammu and Kashmir on the matter of Appointments, promotions, recruitment.

It also organizes examinations for recruitment of the employees under State civil services and many other posts

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:
Candidates have BE or B.Tech with at least 55% marks in Mechanical / Automobile / Metallurgy engineering.

Age Limit:
Candidates should have attained 18 years of minimum age but not exceeded 37 years of upper age

Age Relaxation:
Upper age level would be extended by 02 years for PH candidates,
03 years for RBA / SC/ST / ALC / SLC and currently candidates.
11 years extension in upper age would be applicable for Ex-servicemen.

Scale of Pay:
Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5200/-


Selection Methodology:
Based on Screening Test & Interview are means for selecting eligible candidates.

Application Fee:
Candidates other than reserved category have to pay Rs. 500/- excluding Rs. 10 processing charge for obtaining Application form.

Rs. 250/- with Rs. 10 processing charge have to pay by all reserved category candidates
