Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) MBBS is a national level entrance exam conducted to offer 200 MBBS seats in JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal Campus. Exam Pattern of JIPMER MBBS Exam mode Online Number of questions 200 Types of Questions Multiple Choice Questions Language English and Hindi Marking Scheme +4 for correct answer 0 marks deducted for incorrect response JIPMER MBBS Exam duration: The exam is conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. JIPMER MBBS is held in two shifts, morning and afternoon. JIPMER MBBS Exam mode: The exam is conducted in a computer based mode. Language of question paper: The language of question paper is English only. Type of questions: The question paper consists of multiple choice and reason assertion based types. Each question carried 4 responses and one has to choose the most appropriate answer out of it. Questions are based on the syllabus as prescribed by JIPMER, Puducherry (exam conducting authority). Total number of questions: Online question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Comprehension and Logic and Quantitative Reasoning. Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, candidate would score 4 marks However, no marks were deducted for incorrect answer. Further, no marks were allotted for any unmarked response.
