JEECUP Eligibility

Hello sir I am Rishabh and I am here as I want to apply for JEECUP and theefore I am here as I want to know the eligibility criteria for this Exam so will you please tell me about this??

JEECUP examination is also known as the UP Polytechnic regulated by the
Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE). It is a state level
examination for the candidates seeking admission in the government and
private polytechnic colleges of Uttar Pradesh

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Indian

Domicile Requirement

Those candidates who have the domicile of Uttar Pradesh state are permitted
to apply for the examination. The candidates completed their 10th or 12th
from the schools situated in Uttar Pradesh board are also eligible for the
test.

Qualification Criteria

The candidate’s minimum qualification must be 10th for applying. If he/she
has passed 12th standard or appearing in intermediate and result is awaited
may also apply and take the test.

The qualifying examination must have passed with 35% from the recognized
education board.

Seat Reservation

The UP residence candidates can apply for the 85% seats through JEECUP
2016. Rests of the 15% seats are reserved for management.

Candidates belonging to General /OBC Category have to RS 300/-

SC/ST candidates need to pay Rs 200



Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written entrance exam,
counselling

Starting date to apply online: 11-01-2016

Last Date to apply online: 16-02-2016

Starting date to download admit card: 01-04-2016

Entrance Exam Date: 01-05-2016

Publication of Result: Second week of May 2016
