Hi I would like to know the details of the Joint Entrance Examination which is conducted for the admission to the under graduate course at various IIT’s, NIT and Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions?

JEE Main 2016, directed by CBSE, is the primary stage examination for admissions to prestigious IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad JEE Main 2016 Exam Dates – Offline examination (pen and paper based) will be hung on April 3, 2016. Online examination (PC based) will be hung on April 9, 2016, and April 10, 2016, in two movements. Age limit – General competitor ought to be conceived on or after October 1, 1991. SC/ST/PwD applicant ought to be conceived on or after October 1, 1986. JEE Main 2016 concede card will be discharged in March. JEE Main 2016 Exam Pattern JEE (Main) – 2016 shall have two papers. Candidates may take Paper-1, or Paper-2, or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to. JEE Main Paper 1 is for BE / B.Tech, Paper 2 is for B.Arch . B.Planning. Both the papers are of 3 hours duration each. Engineering aspirants must attempt Paper 1 and Architecture aspirants can go for Paper 2. Paper 1 has objective type with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
