Integrated Passenger Information System is a single control providing announcement for announcing train information to passengers and visual information using LED display boards and CCTV system.
The LED display boards are connected to RS-485 network build based on serial communication HUBs.
Integrated Passenger Information System are used for Display's Train Number, Name of Train, Expected Train, Arrival/Departure of Trains and Platform Number for multiple trains at a time on IVD & OVD Boards. IVD & OVD shall displays the commercials, entertainment programs and other information for passengers

The Integrated Passenger Information System (IPIS) is 100% compliance to RDSO Specification no RDSO/SPN/TC/61/2007 Rev 2.0 and Amendment NO 1.
The Integrated Passenger System includes
Redundant Console Control Unit (CCU)
LED Display boards with Serial Communication Hubs
CCTV
PC based announcement

The LED display boards are
Multi Line Display Board ( MLDB) used at main entrance
At-A Glance Display Board ( AGDB)
Platform Display Board (PDB)
Coach Guidance Display Board ( CGDB)

The Serial Communication Hubs are
Main Data Communication Hub (MDCH)
Platform Data Communication Hub ( PDCH)
