Iona College and the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC), which share a Catholic heritage and international educational philosophy, have collaborated to establish the Iona-UIC Fast Track MBA Program, a new opportunity for current or past UIC business students. Recognizing UIC’s academic excellence, Iona College will give credit toward an Iona MBA for strong performance in certain UIC undergraduate business courses. Accreditation Iona College’s Hagan School of Business is accredited by AACSB International – a highly acclaimed distinction awarded to just 5 percent of business schools worldwide. AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Accreditation means: • Iona meets world-class standards in business education • Faculty members are active scholars in their disciplines, integrating theory and practice in the classroom • Courses are continuously evaluated and improved based on student evaluation • A mission-driven curriculum • This program prepares students to be leaders in the corporate world Enrollment: Total on-campus enrollment approximately 4,000 • Undergraduate enrollment more than 3,200 • Hagan School of Business graduate enrollment over 400 • Over 200 international students from more than 40 countries • A diverse student body Faculty: Student-Faculty Ratio: 15 to 1 • 85% of faculty hold highest degree in their field • No classes are taught by teaching assistants or graduate assistants Tuition, Fees and Scholarship Assistance Iona College will award UIC students participating in the Iona-UIC Fast Track MBA Program a one-time annual scholarship of $8,670. Scholarship funds are applied directly to tuition charges. These awards will reduce the out-of pocket cost per student as follows: Total Tuition and Fees for 33 credits $35,324 Less Iona Scholarship (approx. 25% tuition award) $8,670 Program Tuition and Fee Cost $25,995 Estimated Additional Program Expenses Living Expenses (12 month period) $17,060 Health Insurance $1,000 Books and Supplies $1,200 |
