Selection Process:
Short listing of candidates based on GATE Score .
Personal Interview.

After selection candidate have to sign a bond for :
INR. 3, 00,000/- in case of special category candidates

It’s INR. 50, 000 for a period of 3 years

IOCL, a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking is a pioneer national upstream Oil with a pan India presence and growing global footprint.

Eligibility

Qualification

Candidates should have passed qualifying degree examinations and awarded bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology.

Candidates, belonging to General and OBC (non- creamy layer) categories, should have secured minimum 65% marks in qualifying degree examinations. (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates)

Geology-(Including Geology/Applied Geology

Geology & Geophysics-Including Geophysics/Applied Geophysics

Age:

For Engineering: not more than 26 years
(Relaxation as per rules)

For Geology & Geophysics: not more than 28 years 2015 (relaxation as per rules). Relaxation as per norms

Salary:

The starting basic pay scale will be Rs 24,900 per month with other amenities and remuneration as per the rules of the company.

The Cost to company will be 11 lakhs inclusive of Performance Related Pay.

Service Bond: A service bond for Rs 3,00,000 (Rs 50,000 for SC/ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates) will have to signed by the selected candidates to serve IOCL for a period of Three years from joining.

Application procedure:

By Registration number of GATE 2016 the candidates can apply to IOCL recruitment.

After submission of the Indian Oil Online Application, a unique Application ID along with the completed Application Forms will be generated.

Candidates have to take a printout, affix a photograph in the space provided and sign in the designated place.

If selected for the interview, candidates are required to furnish copies of their GATE 2015 Application Form, GATE 2015 Admit Card and the printout of the Indian Oil Online Application Form.

Submission of online GATE 2016 application: September 1- October 14, 2015

Start of online application module (Indian Oil) : December, 2015
