Phil. and Ph.D. in Population Studies. The MPS education is conducted both as regular, classroom course and through distance learning. Courses Offered M.A./M.Sc Programme in Population Studies Master of Science in Bio-Statistics and Demography Master of Population Studies (MPS) Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Population Studies Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Population Studies Master of Population Studies (MPS) (Distance Learning) Post Doctoral Fellowship(P.D.F.) Diploma in Health Promotion Education (DHPE) Post Graduate Diploma in Community Health Care (PGDCHC) Eligibility Criteria for the courses is as follows: Degree(Full-Time) Master of Arts/Science in Population Studies (M.A./M.Sc.) (fifty Seats with Govt. of India Fellowship) Bachelor’s degree from a acknowledged university with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade. First choice shall be given to candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Math/Stat/Eco or any social science subject. and The higher age limit is 25 years as on 30.6.2015. Master of Science in Bio-Statistics and Epidemiology (Fifty Seats with Govt. of India Fellowship) Bachelor’s degree from a acknowledged university with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade with Mathematics or Statistics as mainstay subject or other subject with atleast two full papers on Mathematics or Statistics. and The higher age limit is 25 years as on 30.6.2015. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Population Studies Five Seats (Five = 1 Gen, 2 SC & 2 ST) with Govt. of India Fellowship. In accumulation, UGC-JRF and other fellowship holders will also be well thought-out for admission as per availability of seats.
