The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad) is an information technology research university based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was the first autonomous private institute of its kind to be established in 1998.


About the B.tech program :

The B.Tech. programme aims to provide core concepts and skills in the broad areas of engineering, sciences, mathematics and humanities, supported by practicums.

The practicums are intended to give students a first-hand understanding of leveraging their initial breadth (and skills) in programme and applying it to develop solutions for real-life problems.

Admission details :

Aspiring candidates should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2017.

The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards. For SC/ST students, there shall be a relaxation of 5% in this criterion.
