Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam
I want to participate in the Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam so can any one please give me the descriptive information of the Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam from any where you can get? The Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam is conducted by the Indian Navy to recruit persons. This exam is conducted two times in a year in the month of June and December and the selected candidates are given training in the respective areas. Here I am providing the information Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam: Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam Eligibility: Qualification: The interested candidate should have pursued Matriculation or equivalent with science and passed the concerned examination of any recognized board. Age: The applicants’ age should be between 14 years and 19 years. Relaxation of 5 years will be given for SC/ ST candidates. Marital status: Only Unmarried Indian candidates are only eligible to apply. Physical standards: The Minimum height of applicants must be at least 150cm They should have a well developed chest with minimum range of chest expansion of 5cm. The Weight of the candidates must not exceed 50kg. They should be free from all types of transmissible diseases or infections. Application Procedure: The advertisement for this examination can be viewed from Employment News or any leading newspapers. The format of application form will also be there in the newspaper with the notification. The Eligible students must submit the application form in the given format to the nearest Head Quarters of Zonal office or as advertised, before the last date. Selection Procedure: The selection is based on the written examination. Paper pattern: The Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam written test is an objective type test which includes two papers. They are as follows: Subjects Max. Marks Time Mathematics 100 2.5 Hours General Knowledge 100 2 hours Syllabus: The syllabus of the Indian Navy Dockyard Apprentices Exam written test is as given below: Mathematics: (a) Number system, Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and real numbers, Commutative, Associative and Distributive law, Fundamental operations-addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, Square root, Decimal fractions. (b) Unitary method-application to simple and compound interest, time and distance, time and work, percentages, profit and loss, ratio and proportion, averages, areas and volumes. (c) Factors, Problems and Equations of Algebra: General Knowledge and General Science: Abbreviations, Books and Authors, Facts about India and the World, Sports, Awards and Prizes, Everyday Science, short notes on various subjects in 100 words. Interview: Based on the performance of the candidates in the written examination, candidates will be called for interview at Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta and Bangalore. Based on the performance of the candidates in the final interview, the selected candidates will be sent to Naval Dockyard School, Mumbai for training. Period of training is three years for most trades. Hi Could anyone tell me about the diving courses coming under Indian Naval School Cochin. I would like to know the 24 weeks course of CD I stands for what course? Is it commercial diver grade I or Clearance diver grade I certification? |
