The details about the recruitment opened in Indian Navy for the post of Executive (IT) Graduate in August, 2016 are as follows:

Executive (IT)

(i) BE/B. Tech (Computer Science/Computer Engineering / IT) (ii) B. Sc (IT) (iii) M.Tech (Computer Science) (iv) M. Sc (Computer) (v) BCA/MCA

Educational Qualifications:
One must have completed BE/B. Tech Engineering Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized university in one of the above streams.

Age Limit:
Between 19 1/2 and 25 Years


Selection Procedure:

(a) IHQ of MoD reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off/ percentage of marks without assigning any reason. No communication will be entertained on this account.
SSB interviews for short listed candidates scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam during November 2016 to March 2017.

(b) SSB interview conducted in two Stages. Stage I test consisted of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. One who failed to qualify in Stage I was routed back on the same day.
Stage II test comprised of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview lasted for 04 days.
Successful candidates thereafter underwent Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 days).

(c) One recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit was appointed for training as per all India merit depending on the number of vacancies.

(d) Change of SSB Centre for interview was not permissible under any circumstance.

(e) Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates was addressed to the call up officer of the SSB on receipt of call up letter.
Candidates were to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ MoD (N) by SMS/email.

(f) No compensation was paid in respect of any injury sustained as a result of tests during SSB interviews.

(g) AC 3 tier rail fare was admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for that type of commission.
