BDS Graduates can surely join Army through 2 modes: 1. SSC(short service commission) 2. DPC(Direct Permanent Commission) Applicants must be aged below 30 Years for permanent commission and below 45 Years for SSC Applicants can apply for direct interview conducted by board of officers, Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS). The selected Applicants are commissioned as direct captain in the Indian army. Short Service Commissioned Officer in ADC (Army Dental Corp) may opt for permanent commission after 2 Years of reckonable service provided they have not attained the age of 30 Years and 31 and 35 Years for post graduate diploma and degree holders respectively. Selection Procedure:- >>Written Exam >>Interview >>Medical Test. |

If you had to join Indian army after completing the BDS graduate then you had to join AFMC. AFMC is an institution for training of Armed Forces Personnel. Eligible One had completed BDS and MDS from recognized university are eligible to join in Army for Dental Department. But you must have score above 60% marks in through out career. Age Your age should be in between 24 to 45 years. Category relaxation There is no age relaxation for Any Category. Procedure for selection The Process for selection Dental Doctor for Army is given below. 1) Written Test 2) Personal Interview. 3) Physical and Medical Test. |
