The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) was founded by late Professor P. C. Mahalanobis in 1931.

It is determined to develop itself into an institution of excellence in education and research in consonance with the contemporary and future needs of India.

Placement Guidelines

Placement of ISI students is facilitated by the Placement Committee.

Students of the M. Math., M.S.(QE), M. Stat., M. Tech.(CS) and M. Tech.(QROR) courses, passing out in July/ August 2016, are eligible for placement.

The placement session for 2015-16 begins from August 10, 2015.

ISI does not charge any Placement Fee.

Placement Slots for 2015-16 Session

Slot A [ Base Salary > 8 lpa ] - Currently Open for booking.

Slot B [ Open Session ] - January 1, 2016 onwards

Base salary is the total sum of all fixed components (excluding one-time pay and other reimbursements), a candidate is to receive as a part of the compensation.
