National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management was founded in 2006. It is an Indian Institute which was established for research, education and catering the need of various stakeholders, e.g. entrepreneurs, food processing industry, exporters, policy makers and government policy. The Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (formerly Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology) (IIFPT) is a pioneer Educational and R&D Institution under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). It has collaborated and signed MOUs with many international institutions across India and the World to facilitate a collaborative programme of research, training, curriculum, institutional development, information dissemination, and exchange of faculty, students and staff. B. Tech (Food Technology) Eligibility: One appeared in JEE (Main) (Paper-1) will be eligible for getting admission at IIFPT. JEE appeared candidates who have passed 12th Exam with aggregate 55% marks for GEN, 50% marks for OBC Candidates and merely passed for reserved category (SC/ST/Pwd) candidates are eligible to get admission at IIFPT. Selection Criteria Selection is purely based on All India Rank of JEE (Main) through a Institute counselling system.
