Indian Forest Service is One of the Civil Services of India and Belongs to the apex All India Services group, with other two All India Services being the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Indian Police Service (IPS).

Indian Forest Service was created in 1966 under the All India Services Act 1951

Eligibility :

6(1) of the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules, 1968 and officers appointed to HP Forest Service shall be eligible to appear in the departmental examination prescribed for them under these rules.
