IES or Indian Engineering Services include technical and managerial services for government of India. According to the esteemed position and crucial role, one is paid. Indian government hires the civil servants and officials on the basis of merit, the middle management positions through competitive exams.

The hierarchy in the increasing order is given below for simple viewing.
• Assistant Executive Engineer / Assistant Director
• Executive Engineer / Deputy Director
• Superintending Engineer / Deputy General Manager / Joint Director
• Joint General Manager / Chief Engineer level 2
• Additional General Manager/ Chief Engineer
• Senior General Manager / Engineer in Chief
• Chairman / Managing Director / Director General

Junior Works Manager
Rs 9300 – Rs 34800+ GP Rs 4600

Deputy Central Intelligence Officer / Senior Public Prosecutor
Rs 15600 – Rs 39100+GP Rs 5400

Investigator Grade-I
Rs 9300 – Rs 34800 + GP Rs 4600

Assistant Public Prosecutor / Junior Works Manager
Rs 9300 – Rs 34800 + GP Rs 4600

Deputy Superintending
Rs 15600 – Rs 39100 + GP Rs 5400

Remuneration and perks for the IES
Pay scale: Rs. 21,400-39,000 /- (per month), Actual salary: Rs. 30,000 /- (per month).

Other Facilities for IES Officer

Residential Quarters:
Government provides the Quarters to the selected candidates as per the posting place and other facilities like gardener, guard, cook, servants for a very low rent also be given to the Officers

Dearness Allowance:
Salary to the officers includes all the Dearness Allowance charge which is a cost of living adjustment allowance.

The estimate of DA is a percentage of person basic salary to mitigate the crash of inflation on people.

Medical Facilities:

Medical services also be given to the officers. In the medical facilities all expenses occur at the time of the treatment made payable by the government.
