Karnataka PGCET is the entrance exam for the PG Engineering Admissions in the state of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) in aggregate

Candidates must meet the domicile requirements as specified.

Candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference and need not appear for Karnataka PGCET.

Commencement of Online Application : June 2015

Payment of fees at SBM/E-Payment Post Offices:
July 2015

Last Date of Entry of Application:
Mid July 2015

Test:
Last week of July 2015

Result:
August, 2015

Exam Pattern:

Duration of the exam is 120 minutes

Total Marks are 100

Total No of Questions is 75 as follows:

Part 1: 50 questions of 1 mark each

Part 2: 25 questions of 2 marks each
