Please give me contact number of the JAM office of the IITM? I have submitted the fee of JAM exam but I didn’t get the acknowledgement fee submission on mobile email and application status as well that I why I want contact this issue with my IITM JAM office.

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) is administering Joint admission test for M.Sc programme, commonly known as JAM for 2018 and not Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M).

It is for admission in M.Sc (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree & other courses in top reputed colleges & institutions like IITs & IISc.

IIT JAM 2018 Exam Date

Application form release 5th September 2017
Last date to submit the online application &
uploading documents 17th October 2017 (Extended)
Last date for application fee payment (online) 17th October 2017 (Extended)
Correction in gender, category & PwD status 30th October to 5th November 2017
Mock test release 21st December 2017
Admit card available 9th January 2018
Exam date 11th February 2018
Answer key release 27th February 2018
Answer key challenge window 28th February to 3rd March 2018
Final answer key release 14th March 2018
Result announcement 20th March 2018
Score Card available 27th March to 31st July 2018
Submission of admission form 3rd 17th April 2018
Last Date for receipt of request for change of category 17th April 2018
First admission list released 22nd May 2018
Second admission list released 12th June 2018
Third & final admission list release 29th June 2018
Closure of Admissions through JAM 2018 5th July 2018

IIT JAM Eligibility
One from any nation can apply for JAM Exam and there is no age limit to appear in the exam.
One should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in graduation if belongs to General or OBC-NCL category or if they are from SC/ST/PwD category then they should have minimum 50% marks in graduation without rounding-off.
Each IIT and IIsc has their own guidelines for different courses on which basis they give the admissions in the institutes.

Minimum Marks Percentage for JAM 2018

Category Minimum marks required in aggregate of subjects
General 55 %
Othe Backward Classes 55 %
SC 50 %
ST 50 %
PwD 50%

The equivalent percentage marks in case of grade and CGPA scores will be determined by the participating institutes.
