Re: IITB PG Cult
PG Cult is the yearly social celebration focused on solely for the postgraduate group of IIT Bombay (or PG junta in short). Since its origin in the year 2008, this would be the ninth version of this social event. The occasions spread crosswise over 9 classifications 3 performing expressions: Dance, Music and Dramatics and 5 nonperforming expressions: Fine Arts, Literary Arts, Speaking Arts, Design, Photography and Film and Media. Mixed all through the logbook year, the PG Cultural Council headed by the PG Cultural Nominee alongside the PG Coordinators and Conveners for every class arranges a few workshops to take into account the fluctuated tastes and abilities of the multitalented PG's of IITB. Competition Intro The rivalries under PG Cult depend on a between departmental configuration held in two stages – one in every semester. The rivalries in the main stage include for the most part solo or double occasions which include similarly low preliminary occasions while those on the second stage include assemble rivalries, for example, aggregate move and music band occasions which are additional time requesting. Considering the similarly more prominent scholastic load confronted by the PG people group when contrasted with the UGs, the principal stage is held around mid september, one week after the mid semester exams of the odd semester. The second stage is then held in the second week of March. These dates are chosen remembering the bustling calendar of the PG's to give them enough leg-space to get ready of the occasions while satisfying the strenuous requests of the educational modules. So junta, what is that type of clique that is lying lethargic inside you? Is it the compelling pen of an essayist or the fire swallowing voice of a speaker? What drives you more? The melodic strumming of a guitar or the turns and bends of dancing?Let it out. Demonstrate to them all what you are past the lowly undertaking of your research facility or the dribble of addresses. As Shamur once said, Let the Music play, Let the Music take Control.
