Admission Process
for Admission in B.tech Kharagpur one should clear in joint Entrance Exam(JEE) as well as in Interview.
. The admission will be based strictly on merit and the candidates will need to score more than 90 percent and above.

one should download the application form from the official website of the IIT, Kharagpur
After downloading, the filled up form should be sent alongside a DD of the required amount to the IITK.
Candidates also have the choice to pay fees via the ATM’s of the SBI or pay it via the SBI internet money transfer method.
Fee Amount of B.Tech in IIT Kharagpur
Candidates of the general category:
Candidates of the open category will have to pay the institute fee of Rs. 28,600/- and hostel fees of Rs. 7,250/-.
The institute fees also include the tuition fees of Rs. 25,000/- each semester.
The students will also be required to give Rs. 8000/- as advance mess charges,
Rs. 425/- for the insurance policy,
Rs. 50/- per semester for the technology film society and
Rs. 100/- for the students brotherhood fund.
Candidates of the reserved categories:
Candidates of the backward categories must pay Rs. 3,600/-
for the institute fees and Rs. 7250/- as the hostel fees.
In addition to this, they are also required to pay Rs. 8000/- for the mess,

Rs. 50/- every semester for the technology film society
