The members of Business Club of IITK (Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur) believe in Mr.Bill Gates saying. "It's not a mistake to be born poor, but it's a mistake to die poor". Its member aims to inform, inspire and encourage students about business and entrepreneurship.



Other Clubs

Adventures Club
Adventure sports club at IIT Kanpur is the forum for adventure enthusiasts, trekkers, and climbers in the student community. Its members work to develop the spirit of adventure among the IITians. Activities organised are Trekking, Mountain biking and wall climbing.


Joggers Club
The objective of this club is to make people go out of their rooms and pursue daily fitness regime. Its members believe that "Every day is a good day when you run". It organises regular jogging sessions and cycle trips to nearby places.


BRaIN (Biological Research and Innovation Network) Club
This club is for the Biology enthusiasts with interests in different areas of Biology like Molecular Biology, Genetics and Evolution, Botany, etc. It organises a number of lectures and workshops with the help of the faculty at IIT Kanpur as well as guest lecturers from across the country.


Insight360 Club
Insight360 is a part of the Journalist Society and deals with the video journalism part. It is a socially active media body covering the latest happening in and around the campus. It aims at giving the viewers a sneak peek into the events, activities and life at Campus. It also organises workshops for Video Making, Video Jockeying throughout the year so that one can hone the skill and novices can grasp the nuances.


Aero-modelling club
Aeromodelling is the art of designing, building and flying miniaturized aircrafts (powered or non-powered). One can build a model plane from any material like Paper, Balsa wood etc. It is both a hobby and sport; the hobby aspect involves building and assembling model aircraft, and the sport part involves the flying. To showcase the passion for flying the club members participate in various fares like techkriti, held at Campus and similar shows held at other institutes all over India.


Society of Automotive Engineers
Society of Automotive Engineers, IIT Kanpur, was established in 2011 by the collective efforts of a group of students with a strong urge to complement the theoretical knowledge imparted in classrooms, emphasizing on the practical aspects of engineering. Its vision is to design and build a race car.


Gliders Club
The gliders club is a temporary solution for those who dream of flying. It organises joy rides for the students and also the campus residents. Besides this it also has arrangements of flying photography.


Robotics Club
Robotics club is an undergraduate organization that provides students with the resources to develop robots. It offers indispensible guidance, workshops and tutorials along with tools, equipment, components and workspace.


Electronics Club
Innovation, Imagination and Application is the motto of Electronics club. It is a hobby group that aims to teach and help people understand the seemingly incomprehensible electronic gadgets in the world today,


Astronomy Club
The main aim of Astronomy Club is to promote amateur astronomy and popularise it in the institute. Frequent lectures and talks by students, faculty and other renowned institutions like IUCAA, IIA etc. are organised by the members for the campus community.
