Here I am giving you information about required eligibility criteria to apply for IIT joint entrance examination for admission in B tech course offered by reputed college situated in India.

IIT JEE eligibility:
You have to passed 12th grade with Physics, Mathematics, and chemistry subjects from any well recognized board of education.. and it is also needed that General and OBC candidates must have secured at least 60% marks and SC/ST candidate securing 55% marks in 12th can apply for IIT-JEE exam.

Number of attempts:
The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three)

JEE Main Pattern
For Paper 1(B.E/B.Tech courses), it is in both off and online modes.
For Paper 2(B.Arch/B.Planning),it is in offline mode only.

Paper 1 - for B.E/B.TECH courses
Duration: 3 hrs

Paper 2 - for B.ARCH/B. PLANNING Mathematics –
Part I - objective questions
Aptitude Test - Part II - objective questions
Drawing Test - Part III - to test drawing aptitude
Duration - 3 Hours

JEE Advanced 2014 Important Dates:
Online Registration Starts: May 4 , 2014 from 10 am
Closing of website for registration: May 9, 2014 till 5 pm
Last date for receipt of application fee through e-challan mode: May 12, 2014
JEE Advanced 2014 Test Date: May 25, 2014
Paper 1: 9am to 12 noon
Paper2: 2 pm to 5 pm
Date of Result: June 19, 2014
JEE Advanced 2014 Counselling Registrations: June 20 to 24, 2014


Now dates for IIT JEE exam is over , next year IIT JEE exam notice will publish in may month of 2015 year .
