Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) offers an excellent environment for academics, research and applications in the field of design.

M Des Programme: Admission Test / Interview

The candidates who have qualified through CEED will have to further appear for an admission test and interview at IDC, IIT Bombay in the month of April.

Important dates:

Date for M.Des Written Test April 13, 2018

Date for M.Des Interview April 14, 2018 and April 15, 2018

Declaration of Results on IIT Bombay May 3, 2018

Payment of fees and confirmation of admission May 11, 2018

Admissions to M Des programme

The following are the steps for admission to the Master of Design programme in Product Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design, Animation and Mobility & Vehicle Design:

For admissions,
1. You'll need to have the requisite undergraduate qualifications

2. Pass the All India Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED), conducted in many parts of the country

3. Apply and Qualify through the IDC Admission Test and Interview
