Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is a type of public business school.
It was formed in the year 1961.
It is located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

IM Calcutta strongly believes, ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’.

IIM Calcutta has

one wooden floored badminton court,
one open volleyball court,
two cement coated tennis
and basketball courts.

There is also one football field and swimming pool on campus.

Courts of volleyball, tennis and basketball are equipped with flood lights so that students can also play at night.

Typically, every evening you will see college teams practising their respective sports.

Feel free to join any team during the practise session.

For all the students keen on fitness, there also a gym on campus.
