Can you tell me about the admission process in Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta through GMAT?

The admission process in Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta through GMAT is as follows:

Admission Criteria

GMAT score: A valid GMAT score is required within 36 months from date of application.

Work experience requirement: A minimum of five years of post-qualification managerial/professional experience.

English proficiency requirement: Proof of proficiency in English is not compulsory for everyone. Onewho need to provide proof will have to take one of the tests mentioned in the application form.

Letters of recommendations: A reference can be provided by someone from the industry who is familiar with the student’s professional experience.

Interview/group discussion: Personal interview.

Other criteria: Students will be selected through a rigorous selection process based on one’s relative ranking comprising GMAT score, academic background, professional experience, personal interview, statement of purpose, and recommendation letters from two referees.

Fee Structure
Programme fees is Rupees 18,00,000/- (non-refundable) for one year, payable in four installments.
Furthermore, an amount of Rs.20,000/- has to be paid as refundable caution deposit at the time of registration. (Students provided with family accommodation will have to pay Rs 48,000/- extra.).
This program fee includes tuition fees, cost of study material, accommodation, and cost of study tours organized by IIMC.

Admission Process
No minimum GMAT score required for application.
Requirement of 15 years of study prior to applying
Minimum five years of post qualification managerial/professional experience.
A reference can be given by someone from the industry that is familiar with the applicant’s professional experience.

Application Process
One can apply online or download an application form from the website and provide the following:
Duly filled-in application form
GMAT score card
Attested/notarized copies of transcripts of exams passed/degrees obtained
Statement of purpose
Two letters of recommendation
Application fee can be paid by demand draft/banker’s cheque.
