The Post Graduate Programme (PGP) curriculum in IIM or Indian Institute of Management Bangalore requires students to undertake a summer project for a minimum duration of 8 weeks on completing their first year course work. One with more than 34 months of prior work experience has the option of opting out of the Summer Internship Placement Process (SIPP) by formally signing out of the process. Successful completion of the Summer Internship is an essential requirement for graduation from the PGP Programme at IIM Bangalore. The Summer Internship recruitment process at the Institute is coordinated by Career Development Services Office along with a Student Placement Committee. It provides all support in terms of infrastructure and facilities needed for the recruitment process.
